Our client, a global technology consultancy, is looking for an Account Executive to manage their top retail account.

JOB TITLE: Account Executive - Retail
LOCATION: Nottingham
PACKAGE: £90k Basic, £150k OTE Uncapped plus Benefits

COMPANY INFORMATION

- More than doubled turnover in the last 3 years
- $1bn turnover
- More than 15,000 staff globally
- Extremely customer centric company (only sell to a small amount and will get as much out of them as possible)
- Present in 20+ countries
- Recently refurbished offices in London, Asia and USA

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Application Services Technology Outsourcing experience (ideally have an understanding of infrastructure as well)
- Account Director/Client Partner profiles (managed/developed accounts)
- C-Level Gravitas (great presentation skills)
- Ideally someone with experience of competing with a tier 1 and winning the deal
- NOT a pure play infrastructure background

ROLE INFORMATION

- Your role will be to grow business within a tier 1 retail account
- You will be responsible for networking the C-suite within the account and maintaining relationships
- You will be selling Application Outsourcing Services (Maintenance, Development, Testing, Remote DBA, Consulting Services, Legacy modernisation, etc), however they are now doing more and more infrastructure services
- Currently the business comes in at the following % splits: 40% of business is from Application Development Maintenance, 30% is Application Development, 15% is Quality Assurance & Testing, 10% is Remote Infrastructure Management / Systems Administration / Network Monitoring, and 5% is providing SOA roadmaps & Legacy Modernisation Consulting services
- Technology Partners include HP (quality centre), Microfocus, Amazon Web Services, and Netezza, they also do some projects around ERP
- Projects range from $500k to $2.5m with the average deals being in the $500k/$700k region
- Existing customers are Fortune 1000/Global 2000 in Retail, Healthcare and Financial Services
- They have a small team in the UK and as such need someone who'll be comfortable working in an independent/entrepreneurial environment
