Our client is an exciting US HQ company currently expanding its EMEA operation. They are looking for an Account Manager to help grow their existing relationships with huge Tier 1 brands!

JOB TITLE: Account Manager
LOCATION: London - Homebased Contract
PACKAGE: £80k Basic, Uncapped OTE

COMPANY INFORMATION

- Start-up environment in the UK (they are now looking to expand across the UK and Europe due to the push from clients for them to have a presence over here)

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experienced in developing new business within existing accounts (would also look at pure new logo hunters)
- 5+ years of domain experience in one of the following areas:
* Customer Experience Management
* Big Data / Advanced Analytics
* Market Intelligence
(The ideal candidate would be a consultant who'd transitioned to sales)

- Personable, presentable and hungry!
- Comfortable and experienced operating at C-Level
- Happy and capable in an entrepreneurial environment
- Able to understand and align yourself to a customer buying cycle

ROLE INFORMATION

- This is an Account Management vacancy where you will be responsible for farming existing accounts. These are a mix of established customers in the USA who need support on the ground in Europe, recent new wins in the UK that need developing, and a small portfolio of already established UK accounts that need developing at C-Level
- You will be selling market intelligence solutions that give organisations a 360 degree view of their customers. The portfolio you will sell encompasses consultancy, professional services and the BlueOcean's own portfolio of software products which are:
1.) Platform for quickly and cheaply analysing unstructured data
2.) Outside In customer profiling software
3.) Competitor analysis software
4.) Automation software for classifying and managing data
5.) Text analytics platform providing granular understanding of customer sentiments and pain points
- The software solutions are typically sold at £5K per user PA
- Professional Services engagements are providing teams of Data Scientists to disseminate and analyse both structured and unstructured data, from which you deliver outcomes around areas such as: Single View of the Customer, Advanced Customer Profiling, Customer Experience, Marketing Measurement, Market Assessment, Competitor Intelligence, Market Research reporting, Predictive Modelling, Behavioural Forecasting and Customer Lifecycle Management
- Typical Services engagements start with a £20K assessment (getting to know and understand the customer challenges and what they are looking to achieve). This will then lead on to an initial project typically in the region of £50K-£100K. From there, future projects can be anything from £200K plus
- Sectors include: Consumer Goods, IT, Financial Services, Retail, Communications, Life Sciences and Utilities
- Existing and recent UK accounts include the likes of: Unilever, Intel, Marks & Spencer, Brighthouse and Arco. US clients that need developing in Europe include the likes of: Microsoft, P&G, Ebay and many more
- Year 1 target will be very achievable in the region of £400K of revenue
