Fantastic opportunity to join a pre-IPO hot start-up in the DevOps space. My client is arguably one of the fastest growing companies in this space right now and is expected to continue this great trajectory as they look to expand the operation and portfolio! They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them on their current path!

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager - DevOps
LOCATION: London
PACKAGE: £60k-£90k basic + SHARES

COMPANY INFORMATION

- UK-based Consultancy Company
- Pre-IPO hot start-up
- 400% year-on-year growth
- 100 full-time employees
- 80% utilization rate (using mix of perm and contractors)
- Clients include Waitrose, Asos, Admiral, DirectLine, DVLA, BAE, Defra, MOJ, IP Office, Vodafone and Nokia

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 5+ years of consultancy services sales experience
- Experience selling either application development / IT or operational transformation consultancy / management consulting background (salespeople from the likes of KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture, etc would be of interest)
- New business proven track record

ROLE INFORMATION

- The core business is helping large businesses implement DevOps as a way of working
- Their main offerings are:
1. Education (training on DevOps in a classroom-type environment and training on DevOp products)
2. Automation (Software Engineering services and delivery)
3. Transformation
- They have a 4-stage client engagement process: 1. Discovery workshop (£16k-£50k), 2. Validate (3 months £100k-£200k), 3. Scale (£500k-£1m), 4. Optimise and disengage
- You will be selling x-vertical into retail, insurance, public sector and telco
- This is a 100% new business focused sales role, however, you will be well-supported by leads from partners, events and google
- You will not be targeted in this role as you will be responsible for opening doors and passing the opportunities onto the consultants
