This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, hungry Business Development Manager to join a leading financial markets technology consultancy. They are the experts in Big Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Software Development, Software Implementation and Advisory/Management Consulting. This role is a key hire for the business, offering the right individual an opportunity for progression into management.

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager - Finance Sector
LOCATION: Canary Wharf, London
PACKAGE: £70K basic, uncapped OTE (at least x2 earning capability)

- 3+ years' experience in a consultative or services lead sales cycle particularly in the public sector
- Hungry (this is 80% about your attitude and your energy!)
- Experience in engaging at multiple seniority levels and building relationships to maximise opportunities
- Must have good experience and knowledge in the public sector


- This is a new business focused sales role selling into the Public Sector, which is a new area for the business (their legacy to date being within the finance vertical)
- Our client has recently been accepted as a supplier to the Crown Commercial Service and they're now able to provide all of their services to Public Sector through the frameworks on G-Cloud and DOS
- As part of their services, they will be helping central and local government entities fulfil the Digital Service Standards across all role and team requirements on the Digital Marketplace
- As this is a new venture for our client, this is a key hire for the business and offers the right individual considerable scope for progression into management of a team
- You will be responsible for driving new business into net new accounts, working on deals that range anything from £100K-£2M in value
- You will be pitching to CTO's, CIO's, Chief Digital Officers, Head of Security, IT Directors, and key influencers within Public Sector organisations
- Target is to be confirmed and will depend on the background of the candidate and what is mutually agreed as achievable
