JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager - Construction
SELLING: Manufactured range of motors and controls
SELLING TO: Selling into a mix of M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Main Contractors, Investment companies and Facilities Managers
TERRITORY: Field/home based covering from Birmingham to Manchester
PACKAGE: £45k - £50k basic, OTE £60k, company car, mobile, laptop, health, pension and 25 days holiday

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 5 years+ Commercial Buildings Specification sales experience
- Demonstrable network of M&E consultants and contractors
- Knowledge/experience with building controls systems would be advantageous
- Dealt with SME's
- Must be consultative in approach
- No aggressive pushy types
- Must be able to self-manage
- Totally autonomous
- Strong access to the M6 corridor
- Business professional

ROLE INFORMATION

- Your role is to sell the company's manufactured range of motors and controls
- These motors are used for daylight management systems, facade management, shadow management to name but a few uses, they actually manufacture many different types of motors
- Selling into a mix of M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Main Contractors, Investment companies and Facilities Managers
- Field/home based covering Birmingham to Manchester
- Selling in a consultative way, very much "stirring the specification pot" and generating business that way
- My client has worked on some impressive projects with some of the most recognised buildings in the world
- Dealing with projects that range from circa £5k to £250k ++
- You will run your own area and be given total autonomy

- Reporting directly to the MD
