Job Description

Our client, a private equity-backed Cloud Managed Services company, is looking to hire a Channel Sales Executive. Boasting datacentres with the highest accreditations and some of the most recognised brands within the Fintech arena as their clients, they are looking to continue this success with this new hire.

JOB TITLE: Channel Sales Executive
LOCATION: Homebased - UK
PACKAGE: £50k base, X2 OTE

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experience working in a channel sales role
- Cloud managed services background

ROLE INFORMATION

- This is a Channel Sales role where you will be responsible for managing and growing the existing partner business
- 70% of your time will be spent working with existing partner businesses - you will be responsible for growing pipeline, pushing the proposition the help with this, meeting with existing partners, and incentivise them to push their offering
- You will be responsible for managing the existing vendor relationships with companies such as Intel, Dell, Lenovo, IBM, etc
- You will be the driving force behind the monthly events, as well as the quarterly theme meeting (this one is going to be on fintech)
- You will spend the other 30% of your time on boarding new partners and getting them up to speed with the offering and making sure they push the proposition to their clients
- You will be responsible for targeting typically tier 2 partners and resellers
- When you uncover opportunities within a partner, you will pass that over to the direct sales guy to run with (they get paid the same as they would and you receive commission as well, allowing you to move on to the next opportunity)
- They currently have 12 very strong partners
