This is a new and exciting senior sales role, selling an instant payment software solution for a growing IT professional services firm, with multiple tier 1 clients in the retail banking sector.

JOB TITLE: Instant Payment Software Sales Specialist
LOCATION: Surrey
PACKAGE: £90k base, £180k OTE, plus benefits

COMPANY INFORMATION

- Established 6 years having grown at 40% year-on-year
- Circa 110 employees, circa 70 permanent
- The sales target for 2015 was £9m and the business achieved £11m
- The sales target for 2016 was £18m and the business achieved £10m in the first quarter
- Referable clients include leading UK and European retail banks

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Proven track record of selling IT Services or IT Software and Services
- Proven track record of doing new business deals, nurturing accounts and upselling to existing clients
- Sold multi-million pound deals
- Sold into Retail Banks
- Sold Payment Solutions

ROLE INFORMATION

- This is a new business development role including some initial account management tbc
- You will manage accounts to upsell to them once you have won them
- You will be selling a new instant payment software solution along with a portfolio of consultancy and advisory services, helping retail banks understand and analyse what payment solutions they need
- The solution is a multi-channel payment orchestration hub built on opensource technology, enabling clients to develop their own products on top of the platform. It is more cost effective, quicker and easier to implement, and self-builds code to plug into other parts of legacy systems chargeable per transaction
- The solution makes it lower cost to install and enables the end user more control of it not being tied into vendors
- New legislation such as PSD2 (Payment Services Directive) further justifies the implementation of this new and improved instant payment solution, integrated in a third of the time of their competitors
- Gartner is currently interviewing them and researching the solution
- You will be well supported in the role with leads from various breakfast seminars, dinner, conferences and leads from partners
- You will be selling to CIOs in retail banks
- Sales target £2m revenue of services plus £450k of software sales (likely 1 deal)
- The sales team is highly collaborative with commission shared for passing work over and introducing each other
- This is a great time to be joining this growing business. They will be hiring another 40 permanent technical staff this year and expanding across Europe
