Job Description

This is an IT Cloud Services Sales Director role for a leading, highly accredited start-up firm specialising in cloud services and selling IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Sales Director to help grow an extremely successful start-up.

JOB TITLE: IT Cloud Services Sales Director
LOCATION: Homebased - Ideally South East
PACKAGE: £100k base, £200k OTE uncapped, plus stock

- Turnover £60m
- 200 employees with aggressive continued growth plans
- Doubled year-on-year over the past 3 years
- 2 impressive UK offices in the South East


- Must have experience of developing a sales team whilst also being able to keep top performers motivated
- Open on what you have sold but MUST have a technology background (you just need to be able to understand the proposition)
- Lead from the front and inspire the team
- Capable in a fast-paced environment


- You will be responsible for managing 6 people with remit to hire 2 more immediately
- The team is made up of 2 new salespeople and 4 well established salespeople
- Sales people in the team carry individual new business targets - you will be responsible for the overall number
- The team is UK wide so you will need to bring them together and make them function in more of a team environment
- Having capitalized on a unique window of opportunity to take advantage of significant public sector spend on IT Cloud Services, the business is perfectly placed and has the highest level of security classification to be able to sell these cloud services into the Public Sector
- Your team will be selling IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
- They will be pitching to CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors and IT Managers
- Deal sizes can start at £10k consultancy in order to get on the platform and go from there, leading to deals up to and above £2m
- Most deals are sold on 2-3 year contracts
