KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Sold IT professional services, solutions or consultancy
- Strong understanding of the Enterprise Infrastructure stack i.e. Data Centre, Storage, Cloud, Microsoft, Backup & Recovery and End User Computing
- Proven ability to identify complex IT problems and articulate complex solutions
- Excellent relationship building skills with credibility at CIO level
- Robust, self-starter with a start-up mentality
- Coachable sales person
- Previous experience in technical roles advantageous

- Founded 6 years ago by an incredibly well respected company, their directors have a proven track record of growing and selling IT businesses in the UK
- Effectively a vendor agnostic consultancy able to identify, justify and deliver transformation projects, with customers focusing on reducing cost, removing risk and improving service whilst avoiding technology pitfalls
- Due to continued success and rapid growth, the business is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to gain, retain, maintain and build relationships with UK enterprise private cross sector clients. With particular strength in FS they have some very experienced finance IT professionals within the business as consultants. They also have a dedicated service management practice as well as a dedicated Microsoft practice
- You will lead with consultancy providing front end analysis in order to quickly frame a road map and business case for customers. You will then prepare the business for RFP, and finally execute transformation and migration projects, taking full accountability for them on behalf of your client
- This is a new business role, however there will be overlay opportunities with various strong legacy relationships within high spending tier 1 international clients across the group
- Deal sizes will vary from £10k-£1m including £50-100k staff augmentation and fixed project work to £500k+ RFP strategic engagements
- 12 month target £3.5m
- The company culture is very much sales orientated as it is owned by incredibly successful, well respected and well connected sales people in the IT world. They are still very much hands-on with the management of the sales team, running daily reports as well as regular knowledge sharing sessions
