A rapidly growing cloud infrastructure, datacentre managed services provider, is looking to hire an experienced Sales Director to manage an existing sales team and add to it ASAP.

JOB TITLE: IT Managed Services Sales Director
LOCATION: Cambridgeshire
PACKAGE: £80k Basic, £160k OTE, plus full benefits

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 5-10 years of sales management experience at an IT company
- Worked for a managed services provider or value added reseller
- Proven track record of selling cloud managed services
- Access to Cambridge

ROLE INFORMATION

- Due to ongoing growth, this rapidly growing managed services provider is looking to hire a Sales Director. You will be reporting directly into the inspirational Managing Director, managing an existing team of 3 sales people (new business, account management and vendor sales specialists)
- You will be responsible for managing the sales team's activity and KPIs, as well as immediately recruiting 2 new senior BDMs and working closely with marketing and external telemarketing agencies for lead generation, selling to IT managers and IT directors
- Having never lost a client, the directors are often referred businesses which they pass onto the sales team to work on a gain and retain model
- You and your team will be selling infrastructure managed services contracts from 2 London-based datacentres with dedicated 24x7 support, offering 100% availability, Private vCloud and specialist Citrix, Microsoft, VMware consultancy
- Historically sold to charity and housing sector clients of all sizes, however these days they focus on minimum 3000+ user organisations and minimum £60k+ deals. Furthermore they have branched out to enterprise organisations in other sectors such as SaaS and payment solutions providers, requiring 100% availability with 0 downtime for their software
- Average deal size £100k per year over a 3 year contract. Largest deal to date £1m
- You will carry a team target tbc in the region of £400k margin per person
- Commission is paid annually throughout the 3 year contract
