Fantastic opportunity to join a very exciting independent IT payment consultancy and specialist technology provider, currently experiencing a period of rapid growth. Their turnover has increased 30% YoY, which includes a 50% increase in turnover within the last year. In this role, you will be working in a strategic business development capacity, creating new opportunities both in new logo clients and also existing accounts.

JOB TITLE: Payments Consultancy Business Development Manager

PACKAGE: Up to £110k Basic, £200k OTE and other benefits

- List of tier 1 clients including the likes of: HSBC, Citi, Bank of America, Lloyds and RBS
- Specialist consultancy focusing on the payments space

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Sold into Retail Banks or have contacts within FS
- Sold Payment Solutions
- Ideally technology agnostic
- Proven track record of selling IT services or IT software and services (able to articulate what exactly you did throughout the sales cycle)
- Proven track record of doing new business deals, nurturing accounts and upselling to existing clients
- Sold multi-million pound deals

ROLE INFORMATION

- Reporting into the Sales Director who has been with the business since inception
- You will be working in a strategic business development capacity, creating new opportunities both in new logo clients and also existing accounts. You will retain and develop any new logos you secure, and may be handed over accounts that have already been nurtured to get you up and running
- You will be selling the company's new software solutions along with a portfolio of consultancy and advisory services. Deals are heavily bespoke, sales revenues will be typically split 60% on services and 40% on software
- All delivery is onshore, however, they do partner with some companies for nearshore support
- You will be well supported in the role with leads from various breakfast seminars, dinners, conferences and leads from partners
- You will be selling to CIOs in Retail Banks
- Year 1 sales target is tbc
- This is a great time to be joining this growing business who are continuing their rapid growth trajectory and are looking to hire another 40 permanent technical staff this year as they expand across Europe
