This is an exciting Sales Executive opportunity selling IT Storage, Virtualisation, Backup/Disaster Recovery Solutions, Application/Email Migration Services and Support contracts.

SELLING TO: SME's up to 1000 users

PACKAGE: Basic: £50K, OTE: x2, Holiday, Business Tools, Healthcare after 6m probation, Mileage/Travel expenses, Quarterly bonus on top of OTE

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 3 years+ selling managed services (cloud/support services)
- Proven track record in new business
- Stability on CV
- Driven and hungry
- Capable of solution sales, not just commodity sales
- Nice to have sold Microsoft Office 365 / Desktop Virtualization

ROLE INFORMATION

- This role is circa 70% new business and 30% account management
- You will be supported by Marketing teams and lead generation agencies
- Selling IT Storage, Virtualisation, Backup/Disaster Recovery Solutions, Application/Email Migration Services and Support contracts
- Key partners are Microsoft, HP, VMWare, and NetApp
- A typical engagement will start with a consultancy workshop with the client where they will work out the business drivers the client has. They will then Architect a solution (Hardware, Software, Services) to solve the client's problem and implement it for them. They will then look to sign the client up for a support contract
- There are 14 Technical Consultants' time you can sell
- Cloud hosting services come from partner's datacentres
- You will be selling to SME's up to 1000 users in size, sweet spot 200-500. You will retain and account manage the clients as you go, therefore the bias of the role will change over time
- They have significant success in the public sector (education and not for profit) and are looking to expand on this and land more private sector customers
- Average project deals are in the region of £50k-£200k. Support contracts range from £10k-£100k PA. These are typically sold on 1-3 year contracts
- Sales cycles are in the region of 2 months for new business
- You will target MD's, FD's, IT Managers/Directors, Office Managers, etc.
- Target £500k GP with an initial 6 month ramp up period. This would likely come from 1 deal per month on average
