This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader with a multibillion pound turnover IT Solutions provider. Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to drive the growth and success of their data management practice. In this role you will manage, drive, coach and inspire the team to success.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Player/Manager profile with 2 years+ experience of sales leadership
- Experience in selling similar services (business intelligence consulting, data analytics, data migrations)
- Experienced in leading sales with services rather than product
- Based anywhere in the UK and happy with travel

ROLE INFORMATION

- Our clients are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive the growth and success of their data management practice
- This is a personal quota carrying management role with a team comprising of 2 BDM's and 2 lead generation FTE's
- You and your team will operate in a 100% new business capacity with strong support from dedicated functions in marketing, lead generation, bid management and pre-sales
- Your role will be to manage, drive, coach and inspire the team to success
- You will work closely with delivery counterparts to further develop the data go-to market messages, as well as with pre-sales and the Professional Services team to develop pre-sales opportunities
- Business will come from a number of existing accounts, as well as from new logo acquisitions made by yourself and your team
- Typically project values will range from the 10's of thousands to the hundreds of thousands in value and you will be working to typically 50% margin
- Target is TBC at interview
