The business has over 12 years' experience working closely with Higher Education Institutions, specifically meeting the needs of an ever changing business.

JOB TITLE: Sales Manager - Higher Education Software
LOCATION: Milton Keynes - 2/3 days a week in the office
PACKAGE: £70,000 basic with a double OTE + Car Allowance + Stock

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a software / technology role
- Track record of selling into the Higher Education market
- Experience in managing teams
- PTR of over achievement
- Longevity in previous roles

ROLE INFORMATION

- You will initially manage a team of 5 across UK, Europe and one Sales Executive in USA with the remit to add an additional 2 to the team across all regions
- You will help manage, mentor, and set strategy for all members of the sales team
- Working with the future of the business in helping them develop into full-fledged sales executives
- The role will be a split of management and selling personally, as well as with the team
- The Marketing team will also report directly into you
- The team will be a mixture of both internal and external. All of the internal staff will close business
- The team will be focused on both new business and existing Higher Education accounts
- You will help the team exceed assigned sales quotas and objectives, and build new revenue through the expansion and growth of business relationships with existing clients and new customers
- Work with customers to understand and identify their strategic vision and objectives, and align our products and services where opportunities exist
- Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to match solutions with identified needs
- Develop and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas across the team
- Report directly into the CEO
