An international technology consultancy, which is widely regarded as the market leader in agile software development, is looking to hire an intelligent and experienced business development specialist.

JOB TITLE: Senior Business Development Manager - Retail
LOCATION: London or Manchester
PACKAGE: £170k plus benefits

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Must have a proven track record of winning new business
- Must have sold into retail
- Sold services in the Application Development lifecycle (ideally agile methodology)
- Must have sold either Operational Transformation, IT Transformation or Technology Re-Platforming solutions
- Intelligent / intellectual (ideally degree educated)
- Ideally experience of closing £500k+ deals
- Gravitas to converse at C-Level within Corporate/Enterprise organisations
- Self-starter, charismatic, creative

ROLE INFORMATION

- This very well-respected business employs a highly experienced team of software development experts to provide software delivery, agile software development tools, and IT & Operational Transformation Consulting services
- Our client is a premium service provider, working with cutting edge technologies to transform the operations of their customers
- Owing to their rapid growth, there is now a need for a critical new role to advance responses to new sales opportunities, both in existing and new logo accounts
- As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be working in a well-supported, strategic new business capacity
- You will be selling purely into the Retail sector
- Typical projects are Technology Re-Platforming, Technology Transformation and Operational Transformation
- You will work on complex projects that can range from the hundreds of thousands, up in to the millions (two recent deals have closed out at £6m and £7m respectively). Average projects are in the £500k to £1.5m range
- You will be pitching to C-Level executives (CDO, CIO, CTO, CEO, etc.)
