This is a great opportunity to join an exciting application development consultancy. They have recently taken on a new Managing Director to accelerate their growth in the EMEA market.

JOB TITLE: Senior Business Development Manager
LOCATION: London
PACKAGE: £120K Base, £240k OTE + Benefits

- Growing 20% year-on-year

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Utopia candidate will come from a software application development services background
- Open to an outsourcing background with an understanding of software, also open to testing services
- Must be new business focused
- Must be entrepreneurial and dynamic
- Not for a digital agency background (too niche and typically will be smaller deal sizes)
- Approachable
- Ideally worked in a corporate and smaller business so knows how to leverage relationships and generate new business

ROLE INFORMATION

- This is a new business sale role. You will retain accounts won for up to 1 year to upsell to and then hand over to an account manager
- You will be supported by lead generation, marketing, referrals and by vast person networks from within the business
- You will be selling software application development offshore outsourcing services
- Won projects recently with the likes of the BBC and Ford, as well as various smaller IT tech start-ups (independent software companies) providing full bespoke mobile application services and ERP rewrites
- Many businesses come to them as they are unhappy with their current outsourcing services
- Your focus will be selling cross sector to mid-tier and upper mid-tier businesses. The top tier space is too crowded and too competitive on price
- Deal sizes vary from £150k to £2m with the average being £500k. They are now targeting larger deals which should be £5m TCV
- New business sales targets £2m-£4m revenue
- Commission paid on billed revenue with quarterly bonuses plus kickers
