Our client, a global application services company, is experiencing record growth and looking to expand their Financial Services business unit with 2 new hires! 

JOB TITLE: Senior Business Development Manager – Financial Services 
PACKAGE: £140k Basic, £240k OTE plus Benefits 


- Widely regarded as the number 1 application consultancy business

- In excess of a billion $ turnover

- Currently growing at 25% YoY 
- Locations across the globe in Asia, America and Europe  
- Key verticals are FS, Media, Telco, Travel, Retail, Consumer, and ISV software / technology companies 
- Sub verticals include Oil & Gas, Pharma / Life sciences 
- Referenceable customers include: Google, BBC, O2, Expedia, Coca-Cola, EasyJet, Barclays, Oracle, John Lewis, Chevron, Aetna and many more


- Must have sold into Financial Services - Ideally Capital Markets 
- Must have a proven track record in new business (opening enterprise accounts) 
- Target and success driven 
- Articulate, well spoken, coachable 
- Able to explain a deal from initiation through to close 

- Sold application consultancy services (would consider infrastructure services)  
- Understand and worked for a smaller company 


- New business hunter focusing on the financial services arena - this is mainly within the Capital Markets space 
- You will be supported by marketing, telesales and both pre and post sales (there might be some accounts handed over that have relationships in other countries - but this is not to be relied on)  
- You will be selling software development services delivered on a near and on-shore basis, digital engagement services, business consultancy services and infrastructure consultancy servicing (cloud adoption) 
- Deals typically start with a $50k discovery workshop and then lead on to projects that range from $1m - $2m in year 1 revenue 
- Sales cycles can vary from 3 months through to 12 months 
- Your year 1 target will be $1m revenue delivered and Year 2 will be $4m in year delivered (you will have a secondary target of $500k of orders not delivered - to maintain a new business focus)
- You will pitch to C-Level points of contact. You will also deal with Development Directors, Chief Digital Officers and IT directors 
- Financial services clients include, but are not limited to: UBS, Citi, RBS, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, Thomson Reuters and MasterCard
