This is a fantastic opportunity to join a cutting-edge Speech Analytics SaaS provider, you will be in a Director level role growing an already successful business and sales team.

JOB TITLE: VP Sales - Leading Cloud SaaS Provider
PACKAGE: £120k Base, £200k OTE, plus benefits


- Turnover circa £20 million
- Circa 100 employees including 50+ developers and analysts
- Market leading SaaS provider of speech analytics to large organisations seeking improved security, flexibility and reduced costs
- Helping clients with compliance, security, service improvement, call analytics and business continuity
- Client base is a who's who of Tier 1's across Finance, Public Sector, Technology, Media, Telco and Retail


- Worked for a company turning over between £20m to £100m
- Can demonstrate how you have significantly grown the revenues of your employer
- Experience managing (recruiting/coaching/developing) both field and internal sales
- Relevant technology experience: Cloud / Communications / Contact Centre / SaaS
- Enterprise Sales background
- Experience selling direct and via the channel
- High energy, emotionally intelligent and intellectual
- Degree educated
- Hands-on leader

- The solution is highly applicable to regulated industries and can also be used by any business looking to move their communications to the cloud
- From a competitor perspective, our client's offering has a number of USP's above their limited competition, so this is a great offering to be taking to market right now. Particularly in light of the Mifid II regulations being released in the coming months
- This role is to join the management team and ultimately be on the board managing and growing a team of ambitious and intelligent junior and senior salespeople
- Responsibilities will include coaching, mentoring and motivating the team, as well as recruiting new stars of the future. The team will require both carrot and stick style management
- You will have regular meetings with the team and one-on-ones to analyse KPIs around calls made, leads generated, meetings attended and businesses closed
- You will be managing all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial engagement, qualification, proposal writing and presenting, closing, post-order account management, and development
- Your primary responsibility will be to grow sales team revenue. You will have a team target and you will be expected to lead on bigger sales. Individual sales targets across the team are £350k - £750k revenue
- The sales team will be selling cloud communication services, mostly their own voice continuity, recovery and recording product pitching to heads of customer care, heads of compliance or heads of business continuity
- Selling predominately via the channel at client meetings, you will lead presentations supported by highly qualified pre-sales specialists
- Their Telco channel partner relationship is mutually beneficial as it gives them the financial clout and branding, and provides a lot of inbound business
- The split of proactive to reactive (overlay) opportunities is 50/50
- In this role you will be taking on a happy sales team, a happy and vast customer base (in particular in FS), and a strong channel partner relationship
